Greetings! Welcome to the first website I ever built! I wrote all of the HTML code myself, and had a great time learning to do that. This little site has been up and running since 2003! Wow. . . I can't believe it's been that long! Anyway, I do keep it updated some, but in January 2008, I took the plunge and purchased my own domain name, and merged most of this site together with my Typepad blog. Please check it out: CHASING THOUGHTS. . .. It is updated weekly, if not daily.
But while you are here. . . Let me tell you a little about our family! My husband Gaylon and I have been married for
twenty-three years, and
have been blessed with three wonderful children. Kendall is twenty years old,(and engaged to a wonderful young lady!)
Alexander is seventeen years old, and Faith is twelve years old. We have 3 goofy
dogs: Gitta, Morpheus,and a silly little Pekingese named Bonnie; and 4 cats:
Piewacket, Anastasia, The Great Waldo Pepper and Pippin. (Yes, we know those are really weird
names...please don't ask!) Gaylon builds houses for a living, and I am a stay-at-home mom. We homeschool our children. In June of 2005, our home burned. The pictures below sort of portray the "Phoenix Rising From the Ashes". We really do miss our old home, but are grateful to be moved in to our new home! And yes, Gaylon did build the new house. How cool is that??
We live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina and we homeschool our children. Please take a look around and
